I am finally catching up to the fall weddings after a very hectic holiday season and this wedding held at Mediterra in Naples was beautiful. Mediterra is a private community in Naples and is becoming one of my favorite locations for photographing weddings because the property and grounds provide such unique and gorgeous backdrops. The getting ready photos of the bride are some of my favorites from this wedding:

This family beach photo session was right before Christmas and turned out to be a beautiful sunset.  Most groups that come to Naples for their family portraits on the beach hope for perfect clear skies to ensure a nice sunset.  However, it is often the case that when there are heavy clouds from either smoke or a storm, the sky gets very dramatic and makes for an ideal sunset background.

This family has been in front of my camera quite a bit lately as I recently shot their wedding and now I had the opportunity in my studio to capture their little guy in time for a holiday gift for Dad.   Dad is a professional baseball player and this is his number one fan:

The following two posts are from a family session with two cousins who are seniors in high school.  I broke them into two mini-sessions and posted each cousin in separate blog posts.  My cousins growing up were all over the map, and I would have loved to have another girl cousin my age who lived in the same town, as these two do.  Hope you enjoy:

Closing in on the end of the holiday sessions, this family decided to shoot their holiday card photos in the studio, and I think they came out great.   The youngest girl is best friends with my youngest, so it’s always nice when you understand the dynamics of the kids and the family.  Enjoy:

It has been a busy holiday season and this family was such a joy to photograph.  The kids were so well-behaved!  

This family is always fun to photograph.  Watching how well their children interact really makes me wish I had a bigger family.  The kids were incredibly well behaved and the parents were so easy going that it made for a fun and enjoyable session.  The purpose of the session was to get a great image for their holiday cards this year.  Not only did we get some great images of the family together, but some of the individual shots of each of the kids turned out great too!  Enjoy.
